Iraqis are still complaining about the museum being looted. I suggest that every former employee of the museum including the director be given lie detector tests and their homes searched for artifacts.

Kill a Dozen A Day?
Will troops have to kill a dozen Iraqi every day before they learn that shooting at our guys is verboten. They would not gather and riot when Saddam was in power but they think Americans are soft and weak willed. I feel sorry for the innocent Iraqi including kids who get caught in these firefights but what are our troops supposed to do? Stand there and take a bullet in the head because some is firing from inside a crowd? I don't know how many Iraqis will have to be killed before they abandon that tactic but probably not until the crowds spot a guy with a gun in their midst and beat the crap out of him and take his weapon away. What is the IQ of the average Iraqi anyway? What is the IQ of the suicide bombers?

Do the Iraqis lie about everything?

In the May-June issue of Archaeology magazine, the director of the Baghdad Museum, Nawala Mettwali, said the staff had been trained to empty the contents of the museum's 32 rooms in less than 24 hours and move the collections to secret locations. So do the Iraqis lie about everything? Or if this is true, what really was looted? These folks are more devious than B.C.
